How often do you update your site and when?
I try to update the site weekly. Some weeks are busier than others, but our site usually gets updated an average of 3-4 times a month. To be kept on top of new items, either sign up for the mailing list or check out our events calendar!

Do you make everything on the site yourself?

I wish! I barely have time to craft with taking care of the business side of CUT+PASTE. Most of the items are handcrafted by a bevy of our talented Partners in Crafts who sell consignment on the site.

How do you set your prices?
You may notice we carry a wide price range on the site. While consigners set all their own retail prices, we encourage them to price them according to how much time was spent and the materials going into making these items from scratch! Handmade items may be a little more expensive because of this and all the care and labor going into making each one unique!

I'm interested in starting my own site, what should I do?
If I got a dollar for every email I get asking this question, I wouldn't have to do this site anymore! Joking aside, the first piece of advice is to just go for it. The more you think about it the less time you actually have to start doing it! If you don't know how to make a website, there are tons of wonderful books about learning HTML, or get a friend or partner to help you out!

I'm interested in learning how to sew, what should I do?
I learned how to work a sewing machine and how to sew simple items by myself. Take a bag or skirt and study it and think about how it is made. The best thing you can do is to experiment. Take a sewing class. If your mom or friend knows how to sew, ask them for help! Don't have a sewing machine? You can usually find one at a yard sale (where I got my first beautiful blue Singer!) or thrift store.

Do you take custom orders?
Sorry, at this time we don't take any customer orders. Try one of our talented Partners in Craft.

I'd like a custom order from a Partner in Craft, how do I get in contact with them?
You can visit each Partner's profile (which contains their contact information) on our Partner in Craft page. We are not responsible for any transactions done outside of CUT+PASTE.

Do you sell wholesale?
For cut+paste handmade items, please contact us at: info@cutxpaste.com. If you are interested in wholesale orders by Partners in Craft, please contact them individually. We can not process wholesale orders for consigners.
