Here’s a baby secret: one of the best places to shop for craft and artisan baby goods online is at Mahar Drygoods. We love shopping there whenever we need to shop for a baby shower or children’s gift…the selection side steps those overly cutesy girl pink and boy blue products that seem to saturate the baby market. And now purveyor Robert Mahar has started a great new blog that showcases some of the items that still have a certain children’s charm, but don’t necessarily fit into his shop.

The International Chapter of the Junior Society, featuring super cute illustrations by one of our fave illustrators S.Britt (get his illustrated pocket mirrors here!), collects the best and brightest of new children’s design. The products out there are amazing! Who knew! And even if you don’t have a young ‘un in your life, so many of these ideas and designs could easily be co-opted with a little grown up kid in mind. :)
